Girl Loves Glam and The Printed Palette T-Shirt Collab!

I am SO excited to show you a little something I have been working on with The Printed Palette! I met Alissa, the owner of The Printed Palette at Snap Conference last year and I just knew I adored her from the second I met her. I have a few shirts from The Printed Palette in my closet and prints hanging on my walls and I was completely honored when she asked me if I would want to collaborate on a shirt design. You can find one for yourself, HERE.

Alissa asked me to come up with a phrase that I felt would be a good representation of who I am. I had to really give it some thought. I wanted it to be a good representation. I have been really into shirts that are about makeup lately. More specifically, I have been loving all of the lipstick shirts I have seen around. I decided to try playing around with a few different ideas that had to lipstick but nothing was really sticking with me.

Sassy Date Night Looks

Photography by: Christine Marie Studios

I love getting dressed up for date night. It is one night that I can wear clothes and not have to worry about a toddler wiping her messy hands on me. I think it is important to dress up for you spouse to remind them of the person that you probably were when you were dating and didn’t have to worry about messy hands!

Four Eyes

You probably haven’t seen many pictures of me wearing glasses. I am usually wearing contacts in my photos, but every once and a while I would wear my glasses. There wasn’t anything wrong with these glasses, but I have been dying to own some bigger, black glasses! I see them all over the place and I love the look of them. I didn’t want fake glasses though. What is the point in wearing contacts with fake glasses when I can get real, subscription glasses for a great price?

Too legit! Too legit to quit! (Imagine me fist pumping right now. Or maybe don’t cause I’m an awkward white girl)

You get where I am headed though…

The new year is upon us. I am choosing to take 2015 on head first. I have goals set and a new perspective on the way I am choosing to take this year on. [Read more…]

The Perfect Active Wear

Recently, I have gotten really into active wear. I love it! I love that I can wear it when I am exercising, but I also love when active wear can be transitional and can be worn outside of a typical “active wear” setting. I enjoy finding clothing that I can wear to sweat in and then not feel totally embarrassed if I need to go the grocery store to pick up a few things afterwards.

One Dress Styled Two Ways

I know I have talked about my love of Twice before, but I am going to talk about it some more because I just can’t get enough of it. I found this DVF dress on there and all of my wildest dreams came true just knowing that I could own a DVF dress! I love it!

Dressing for the Weekend

Dressing for the weekend is something I really love doing. I love that the weekend brings totally different activities than during the weekdays. Sometimes I dress down and keep it very casual, but other times I really like to dress up and do something special for date nights on the weekends. There are just so many possibilities!

Perfect Holiday Boots

I love this time of year. It is so fun to get dressed everyday! There are so many fun textures that you can introduce into an outfit during the cold months. It is the one thing that makes the cold enjoyable for me!

No matter how many layers I wear though, I have learned over the years that the most important part of a winter outfit is what is on your feet! Not only is important to have cute shoes, it is important to choose shoes that will help keep your feet warm! It doesn’t matter how many layers you are wearing. If your feet are cold, you will be too! Boots are so cute, but can be quite expensive. I love shopping at Payless ShoeSource for my boots. These adorable combat boots have kept my feet comfortable and cute without breaking the bank.

Payless is the perfect place to shop for yourself, your kids, or the man in your life this holiday season because they have a great, stylish selection and they always have great deals! After you shop for all of your loved ones, you will have a little extra money in your budget to treat yourself to some sweet shoes for yourself! Merry Christmas to you!

Who do you need to buy new shoes for this holiday season?

The holiday season is such a magic time of year. All of the gift giving and parties are enough to make anyone’s holiday loving heart just want to burst over the excitement and joy! I love that it has become a tradition for adults to have holiday parties that are for adults only. Not that anything really crazy happens at any holiday parties I attend, but I love the opportunity to dress up a little and have conversations about things other than princesses and the potty. Meaningful Gifts

When you sit back and think about last Christmas, can you remember what you got? Can you remember what gifts you gave? I sure can’t! Not that I am saying that the gifts I gave and received weren’t great, but they didn’t have a lasting impact on my life. It kind of made me sad. Maybe I don’t remember because I was too busy trying to keep the wrapping paper garbage under control, or maybe I was distracted by social media, but I don’t remember much about last Christmas. I decided I wanted to make things different this year. I want to be able to have more sentimental value to this Christmas because this truly is a special time of year and it should be cherished.
