Being Confident

I’m sharing #LISTERINE in my life as part of a LISTERINE® sponsored series for Socialstars™

Being confident means a lot of different things to me. When I think about confident people, I think of different types of people. I think a lot of times, we think of confident people as people who get up and perform in front of people. Unfortunately those types of people can be the least confident a lot of times. Instead of looking outwardly to find examples of confidence, it is important to look within to find your own confidence.

Finding Confidence within

When you truly learn to love yourself, you dare to live your life with more confident behaviors. You can immediately tell when someone feels comfortable in their own skin. I like to keep a mental list of things that I like about myself and things that I think are strengths of mine. It sounds silly, but I rely on that mental list when I am feeling down. It reminds me of my self worth and keeps me from dwelling on the negativity too much.

Finding Confidence

While I am not in my dream pant size, I don’t let that keep me from being happy and confident. There are other things that I can do to make me feel better about my outward appearance, besides the size of clothing I wear. I like to paint my nails, do my hair and makeup, and take care of my teeth. They are little things, but they help my confidence a lot.

I love using Listerine to really enhance my smile. My smile has been one thing I have been complimented on my entire life and I really appreciate it. I take pride in my smile and want to make sure it is always looking its best!

Will you be in NYC on April 14th? Make sure to stop by Union Square from 8am-2pm to interact with the Listerine team and participate in activities and even receive free samples!

What makes you feel the most confident?
