Handmade Monogrammed Bags

Handmade Monogrammed Bags
I am so excited to be here at GIRL LOVES GLAM.
I love McKenzie and her blog.  We have so much fun when we get the chance to hang out.
I am Staci, and I blog over at The Potters – Place where you can find just about anything we are DIY-ing, making, or creating at our place.
Today I am going to show you how we made some handmade monogrammed bags.  We made these last year {I never posted about them} for Christmas gifts from one sister to the other.
These have become our church bags and have loved them.
I started out with these handmade bags that I found at a local boutique.  I think they would be simple to make but they were such a great deal and all of the proceeds where going to a good cause so I just bought them.
Using my Cricut, I cut out a stencil E & M {I used a sticky stencil but freezer paper works just as well or better}.   Then each girl painted {with fabric paint} the other’s initials on the bag.  Make sure that you put something between your bag so that it doesn’t bleed through.
Allow to dry and they are ready to wrap.
Thanks McKenzie for letting me show you how we made a simple handmade Christmas gift.
Happy Holidays
Be sure to stop by The Potters-Place and say HI!
