I am being interviewed by Porch today! If you haven’t checked out Porch before, you really should do it! It is a blog partnered with Lowe’s that is jam packed with the greatest content! You have to check it out! To see the first part of my interview, check out the first half of the questions over there through THIS LINK!
Here is the rest of the interview!
-If your life were a song, what would it be? As cheesy as it sounds, I am going to have to say Katy Perry “Roar”. It took me quite a while to find out who I was and where I belonged in all aspects of life. I think this song is a good representation of that!
-Pinterest or Facebook? I love how pretty Pinterest is, but there is no place like Facebook when I want to creep on someone to learn all about them! I don’t know what I would do without Facebook. It is actually where I met my husband! I have part of our love story documented on my blog if you are interested in that kind of thing! HERE
is a link to what I have documented.
-If your walls could only be painted one color for the rest of your life, what would they be and why? WHITE! I love the possibilities that are open with good ol’ white walls. I love color! My color choices are constantly changing and I like to bring them in through textiles, artwork, etc so that I don’t get bored.
-What are you exceptionally good at? (Permission to brag) I am crazy good at connecting with others. I didn’t realize this until more recently. I don’t always love social situations, but when I am put in different social environments, I can typically evolve to my setting and start connecting with others pretty quickly. So, who wants to be my friend?
-What’s the weirdest thing you’ve collected? Shower caps. Yep, shower caps! When I was in middle school and high school, I would collect shower caps from the hotels I would stay in. I thought the concept of a shower cap was hilarious! Ironically, I wear a shower cap most of the time now!
-Show us your best project for a DIY beginner! These wood slice shelves will probably go down as one of my most favorite projects ever. They look so great in different spaces and they are CRAZY easy to make. Find the tutorial HERE
-What’s a home trend you hope doesn’t exist in 100 years? Please don’t let chevron print be in style! I think we all loved it so much, people went crazy for it and I am really ready for it to die. Just when I think it is past us, it seems to creep up again on my Pinterest feed!
-Favorite words to live by? I can do hard things!
Thanks to Porch for the feature! Make sure to check them out to learn about tons of bloggers and the most amazing projects around!
