Enclosed Porch Makeover REVEAL!

Is a room ever finished? Not really, but you get to a certain point when you think… I like where this is at right now! Then you go to Target and see something that the room just HAS to have. Am I right? Well, with that being said, my enclosed porch makeover is done!

Are you just dying? I know I am. I can’t even believe that it used to be that dang ugly! My husband couldn’t even remember what it looked like before. Maybe because it looks so fabulous now? Definitely not because it took me about 6 months to complete, right? Either way, I am really happy with the results and I can’t wait to relax and sip some lemonade in that room.
Project Details
The walls used to be a nasty brown color, but I painted them my new favorite color, Crushed Ice from Sherwin Williams. I gave the window seals a pretty coat of white paint too.

The houndstooth floor was stenciled on. You can find the tutorial for stenciling your tile floor here.

The ceiling used to be a nasty cream color. Not to mention, the wood slats had been textured over it. It was really bad. I scraped the popcorn junk off of it and gave it a nice white coat of paint. The light fixture ended up being too much for me to bite off, so I gave it a pretty blue coat of paint too. I added small crown molding around the ceiling and it added just the right amount of detail.

The gallery wall is one of my favorite parts about the room. It was made of scrap wood and brings so much life to the room. If you want to make one too, the tutorial can be found here.

I love all of the décor. The chairs used to be hunter green and were a thrift find. Most of my pillows are from Pillowtalkk. She has the most amazing pillows! The only pillow that didn’t come from Pillowtalkk is the long turquoise one with the ribbons on it. That came from Ikea.

I was so excited to find this amazing rug on clearance at JoAnn Fabric. The big owl was found at TJ Maxx, and the small owl (used to be brown), at Target.

I couldn’t be happier with the change that took place in this room!
