Dressing for the weekend is something I really love doing. I love that the weekend brings totally different activities than during the weekdays. Sometimes I dress down and keep it very casual, but other times I really like to dress up and do something special for date nights on the weekends. There are just so many possibilities!
I was really inspired by THIS article by Yahoo! #YahooStyle about dressing for the weekend. You may be going to brunch, date night, or running errands during the weekend. No matter what the occasion is, you can be stylish!
The date night outfit they shared was a knit dress with heels. I loved that the knit dress was dressy, but comfortable. Since most of my date nights are fairly casual, I wanted to have a date night outfit that felt dressed up, while still being casual. Wearing a skirt with a fun print and pairing it with a tee is perfect for most of my date nights.
Shirt: Style Lately | Skirt: Inspired by Tess | Necklace: Cents of Style | Clutch: PS I Adore You | Boots: Steve Madden
No date night outfit would be complete without some great accessories. I went for a more simplistic look with a fun clutch, a statement ring, and a simple necklace. I dressed up enough to feel gorgeous, without overdoing it!
If you are ever stuck trying to figure out what to wear during the weekends, you really should check out this article! It helped me a lot! There are some really great gift guides on Yahoo! as well. If you couldn’t already tell by my choice of colorful skirt for date night, I love color! This Cold Feet Gift Guide is full of the most amazing, colorful socks! I am not kidding when I tell you that I ask for socks almost every year for the holidays! This gift guide was made for me!
Where do you go to feel inspired for your outfits and gift ideas?
