Sally Hansen Nail Party!

It says it in my blog name, glam. I love glam! I love having a reason to get dolled up and I love getting dolled up with friends! I got to do just that when I hosted a Sally Hansen nail party! Can you think of anything more fun than getting together with a bunch of your favorite girls, watching a chick flick, reading magazines, and painting your nails?! I don’t think there is anything more fun than that!

Planning the party was almost as fun as having the party! I went to Walgreens and picked up some magazines, treats, and TONS of Sally Hansen nail products to try out! I was shocked at how much I saved when I signed up for balance rewards with Walgreens! It costs nothing to sign up, and it saved me a bunch of money! I am a fan of that! I was shocked to see how many different products Sally Hansen had to choose from too. There is really something for everyone, no matter what your style is. I grabbed several different products and styles so that all of the ladies attending could find something they loved. To see my whole shopping experience, check out my album here.
I was sure to give my guests awesome goodie bags full of products that they could try at home too. The goodie bags also doubled at pretty cute party decor on the table.
The nail polish cookies were a huge hit! I wish I could take credit for making them, but I can’t! They were made by my extremely talented friend, Stacy! Adding little details really helped make the party special.
The night before the party, I tried out a few of the Sally Hansen products so that I could help the ladies when it was time for the party. I loved the Insta Gel System! As a cosmetologist, I have done my fair share of shellac nails, and this system works a lot like that! They don’t damage your nails and they are much faster and less expensive than salon shellac nails.
When it was time for the party, I did a little demo for the ladies so that they would know how to use all of their new products without having to read the instructions. They needed time to socialize, watch “Clueless”, read magazines, and paint their nails!
The ladies all loved their goodie bags and got right down to business making their hands and feet look fabulous! It was really fun to see all of the different styles that they chose. It really inspired me to try some of the looks that they tried. I loved all of the bright spring colors and prints. It really reminded me of a lot of the fashion that I have seen recently. Who doesn’t want their nails to be totally on trend too?!
The party was a huge success! It was really fun to check out #iheartmynailart on Instagram too to see my friends posting their nails on there and to see some of the other Sally Hansen parties happening. I can honestly say that I am a recent convert to non salon brand nail polish. I love the way these Sally Hansen products look and I love the prices even more! If you don’t have a Walgreens near you, you can always order Sally Hansen products online too! They are also doing an awesome promotion on the Insta Gel system that I loved! It is only $19.99 for the starter kit until 4/27! It is a really awesome deal! Be sure to follow Sally Hansen and Walgreens on Twitter to stay up to date with all of their promotions.
