My skin has really thrown me for a loop lately. One day it will be nice and clear and the next will be a day full of blemishes. Recently I have tried a lot of different skin products to try to help my skin out. I knew that I would want to share with you too! One cleanser that I tried and was really impressed with was the Burt’s Bees Acne Gel Cleanser.
The first thing that stood out to me about this cleanser was that it is really gentle in every way. It doesn’t have a strong scent and doesn’t burn your face like some acne cleansers can. It washes away acne causing bacteria while soothing acne-prone skin. It is also 99.4% natural, which explains why it doesn’t hurt when I apply it to my skin.
To use this cleanser, get your face wet with a wash cloth. Avoid your eye area. I always go back and use eye makeup remover so that I’m not rubbing so hard on the skin around my eyes.
Once your face is wet, apply the cleanser to your face. Remember to avoid getting it close to your eyes. This is not an eye makeup cleanser. Massage the product into your skin a little.
Wipe off the cleanser with a wet washcloth. I like to get my cloth really hot when I wash it off because it feels like I am applying a steamed towel to my face, like I am in a day spa. It sounds silly, but I look forward to that everyday. It is my own little “spa experience” in my bathroom each day.
