There nothing better than combining a few of the things you love and turning into something you SUPER love. This is exactly what happened when I combined black and white washi tape, arrows, an Audrey Hepburn quote, and a curvy oval Cut it Out frame.
Eek! Don’t you just LOVE it?! I wanted to create a fun little piece for my daughter’s room to showcase one of my very favorite quotes. This was such an easy project! You can make your very own too. To make one, this is what you need…
*Paint
*Paintbrush
*Happy Girls, Pretty Girls free printable
*Washi tape (I used 4 different kinds that I purchased through My Craft Channel)
*Xacto knife
First, paint the picture frame. I chose to paint mine white because I wanted the focus to be on the patterns that I was adding later on.
Cut strips of washi tape and stick it to the front of the picture frame. When you stick it on, be sure to put enough on that the tape goes over the edge of the front so that it covers the entire top of the frame.
I had decided ahead of time what order I wanted the patterns to be in so I stuck the tape on in that order.
Cover the entire picture frame in washi tape.
Using the Xacto knife, cut off the excess washi tape off of the edges of the frame.
I decided not to paint a lacquer or Mod Podge on it to seal it because I want to be able to easily change it later on if I want to.
Now, for the cute free printable to put in it! This printable is for PERSONAL USE ONLY!
To print this, just right click on the image and save it to your computer. Open it up in a photo hosting program and print!
Put the printable in your picture frame. The thing I love about this Cut It Out frame, is that you don’t have to cut your image in an oval to fit into your frame.
Isn’t that printable just perfect in the frame?!
I am so happy with how it all turned out!
I was actually able to go to Cut It Out in person with the Idaho Bloggers Guild and was SO impressed with how they run their business. They are amazing! They can cut any shape you could ever imagine and their work is really high quality! Go check out the rest of their great pieces!

This is adorable! I haven’t used Washi tape much, but it’s starting to grow on me, and this project is certainly one of the reasons why. Well done!
