I have been so excited about Zoey’s nursery design. I have been planning it for months and I finally was able to finish it so I can share it with all of you! When I found out I was having another little girl, I saw a color design chart with pink, blush, mustard, and charcoal gray. I INSTANTLY fell in love with the color combination and knew I wanted to use those colors in my baby’s nursery.
Bedroom Decor Refresh with Annie Selke
We have lived in this house for about a year and a half now. That isn’t incredibly long, but most of our decor has followed us from house to house. A lot of the decor in my house is getting a little boring for me and I need to give each room a little decor refresh. The first room that I decided to do that with was my bedroom. My room is typically the last room that gets decorated, but I wanted to give it a little more of a tranquil feel, while still keeping it fresh and fun! The Annie Selke Spring Catalog totally inspired me when I was planning out the decor for my bedroom.
Pink Scalloped Dresser Makeover
We are in full blown nesting mode at our house, trying to get ready for baby number two. Part of our plan to make room for baby was to move the queen sized bed in the guest bedroom into Harper’s room so that the guest bedroom could become baby’s room. The guests will still get to sleep in the queen bed when they come to visit and Harper will sleep on the air mattress. It took a little convincing but she finally got excited about getting a big bed. Part of getting her excited was telling her that we could give her room a little makeover at the same time. We pretty much just decorated her room since we have only been in this house for a year, but there were a few other things we could do to make her feel like this was a special experience for her and she wasn’t just getting kicked out of her little bed. One of the things that we decided to do was refinish her dresser. I LOVE how it turned out!
