Snow Globe Ornaments Christmas Kid Craft

One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is the opportunity to make holiday crafts! I love that that love of Christmas crafting has rubbed off on my kids as well. They love doing Christmas kid crafts! One of my favorite types of holiday kid crafts are ornaments. There is something so special about pulling out handmade ornaments each year to see those little creations made by your kids! This year, we made these darling snow globe ornaments. They are the perfect Christmas kid craft! They would be so fun to do as a craft in a classroom Christmas party too.

Snowy Christmas Centerpiece

Sometimes Christmas centerpieces can be a little too extravagant for my taste. Rather than be on a constant hunt for the perfect, simple Christmas centerpiece, I decided to make my own. This snowy Christmas centerpiece is incredibly easy to make and looks so magical when the candle is lit up.

Disneyland Treats Bag

With the big reveal of our Disney treats Halloween costumes, I couldn’t let my little Dole Whip and Mickey Ice Cream Bar go trick or treating without an epic trick or treat bag! This Disneyland treats bag will be the perfect way to stay with our theme and have plenty of room for all of their Halloween treats!

Spiderweb Pumpkins with Vinyl

I think I have made it painfully obvious that I am a huge Halloween fan. I love it! A little thing you probably didn’t know is that when I decorate for Halloween, I refuse to use anything with spiders. I hate spiders so much that I refuse to decorate with them. But I made somewhat of an exception to this rule when I visualized a pumpkin covered in beautiful colored spiderwebs. I made it a reality and I actually really love how they turned out. These spiderweb pumpkins are just made with vinyl, so they are something that anyone could recreate.

I loved the idea of making one with gorgeous rose gold tones and having another one with black, white, and different shades of gray. They both turned out beautifully. I want to make more! To make these spiderweb pumpkins, I used… [Read more…]

Disney Food Family Costume: Disney Treats Costumes

This week has been so fun! I have finally been able to reveal all of our Disney Treats costumes! Not everyone would choose a Disney food family costume theme but I am grateful that my family did. They were all really great sports about our theme this year and were genuinely excited about it. We love Disneyland food and dressing up as our favorite Disney treats seemed like the perfect fit!

Disney Food Family Costume

The best part of all of these Disney Treats family costumes is that they are all no sew costumes. I am not a fan of sewing, so I avoid it at all costs. Our Disney food family costumes include a Mickey Ice Cream Bar costume, Dole Whip costume, Mickey Waffle costume, and a Disneyland churro costume! [Read more…]

No Sew Churro Costume: Disney Treats Costume

No Disney treats themed costumes would be complete without the infamous Disney churro! This churro costume was a lot of fun to make. This costume was by far the most planning that has had to go into a costume that I have made but it was worth it! It turned out exactly like I had planned. It didn’t require any major technical skills, just random supplies to come together to create this sugary goodness that is a Disneyland churro!

The great thing about this costume too is that unlike a few other renditions out there on the internet, this costume is easy to wear and can easily be removed, where it is made up of three major pieces. To create this churro costume, you need… [Read more…]

No Sew Mickey Waffle Costume: Disney Treats Costume

My absolute favorite food at Disneyland are Mickey waffles! I have to plan a character dining experience at the Plaza Inn each time we visit, just so I can get my hands on more of those delicious waffles. They are the greatest! I even have a Mickey waffle ornament and now a shirt with Mickey waffles on it. The obsession continues as I now have a Mickey Waffle costume I get to wear this Halloween!

No Sew Mickey Waffle Costume

I love my Mickey waffle costume so much! It is the best because I can wear whatever I want under the costume and easily be able to slip the costume on and off as I go to Halloween functions. I think the best part about this Mickey waffle costume is that it doesn’t require any sewing! To make this costume, I used… [Read more…]

No Sew Dole Whip Costume: Disney Treats Costume

There aren’t many Disney treats as iconic as the infamous Disneyland Dole whip. It is absolutely one of my favorite treats at Disneyland! When we were deciding which Disney treats costumes to include in our family costume, we absolutely knew that a Dole Whip costume needed to be included.

Every detail of this Dole Whip costume is spot on. From the cup to the spoon in the hair! The best part of this costume is that it didn’t require any sewing! Here are the materials I used to create this Dole Whip Costume… [Read more…]

No Sew Mickey Ice Cream Bar Costume: Disneyland Treats Costume

Walking right down the middle of Main Street USA with this Mickey Ice Cream Bar costume. No sewing required and made with inexpensive materials, this costume is as sweet as the real thing! My 2 year old loves “Mickey pockles” aka Mickey popsicles, so when we chose our Disneyland food Halloween costume theme this year, I knew she needed to be our Mickey Ice Cream Bar!

Mickey Ice Cream Bar Costume

She absolutely loves her Mickey popsicle costume and it was really easy to make! My sewing machine and I don’t get along, so none of my Halloween costumes ever require them. They are all no sew costumes! The Mickey Ice Cream Bar costume was the easiest of all of our family costumes this year. Here is what I used to create it… [Read more…]

Unicorn Dreamcatcher Unicorn Craft

Unicorn crafts have been all the rage for a few years now. Everything seems to be cuter with a unicorn horn on it! We wanted to host a little summer kickoff party with my daughter and some of her friends. There is no better way to kick off the summer with a bunch of little girls than to do a unicorn craft! We made these darling unicorn dreamcatchers. Each of them were unique and they all turned out so cute!
