I have wanted to honor my favorite beauty products for quite some time now. I share my monthly favorite things in my videos, but I wanted some way of shouting from the rooftops, which products impressed me the very most each year. Then the thought occurred to me, beauty magazines give out their own beauty product awards each year, why can’t a beauty blog do the same?! That was when the Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Awards were born!
I have awarded the top 10 beauty products that impressed me the most in 2015! They weren’t necessarily new in 2015, but they impressed me the most that year and they deserve to be awarded and given the Girl Loves Glam official stamp of approval. Without any further ado, here are the winners!

Hair
Paul Mitchell Unclipped 3-in-1 Curling Wand: This wand has owned a permanent place in my heart for over 2 years now. I have used this wand almost everyday for over two years and have never had problems with it. I am so impressed with the ability this hot tool has to curl. I also love that I can choose which type of curls I want to create by switching out the different heads for the wand. I have used several curling wands and none of them come close to what this wand can do. You can control how hot it gets, so you can make sure to get it hot enough, without getting it too hot for your hair. Everyone’s hair curls at different temperatures, so it is really important to be able to have that custom experience. I could probably go on and on about this curling wand for the rest of the post, but I will leave you with the thought that Paul Mitchell is a brand that you can trust, this wand is well made, it does its job and does it well. Those are the reasons why I gave it my Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award for 2015!
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Salt Spray: This is a product that literally use everyday and you probably even feel like I talk about it everyday. That is just how much I love this sea salt spray. I tried several sea salt sprays and texturizing sprays before trying the Paul Mitchel Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Salt Spray. I wanted to give them a chance because I had heard a lot of my friends who I went to beauty school with rave about this spray. I tried the other sprays and while they did offer some results, they just weren’t that great. I caved in and tried this spray and it was love at first spray. This spray is light, so you don’t feel like you are caking your hair with a product. It adds texture without making your hair feel dirty too. I don’t understand how it works, but it does! I spray this in my hair when it is damp on the days that I want to let my hair embrace my natural curls and I spray it in my hair when it is dry on the days that I curl my hair with the curling wand to add texture. It works miracles every time. That is why the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Salt Spray wins a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award for 2015!

Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion: My skin has suffered from adult acne and about 6 months ago, I decided to try this Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion. I love using this because I can feel it working instantly. I don’t use this everyday, but it is a great product to use when I feel like my skin is breaking out more frequently. I feel like a lot of products out there that are specifically made for acne tend to dry out my skin, but this hasn’t dried out my skin at all! That is why it is receiving a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award for 2015!
FOREO Luna Mini: With so many different devices that are available for your skin, it is easy to get lost in the mix of them. I tried a few different brushes and skin devices, but they either didn’t have the results I was looking for or I would just forget to use them. The thing I love about the FOREO Luna Mini is that it is waterproof, so I can use it in the shower. I keep mine in the shower and use it everyday while I am in there. It has a timer so that you can scrub each section for your face for 15 seconds. After that time is up, I spend more time concentrated on my nose and use the back side of the scrubber to really get in the creases and get it scrubbed out really well. I have absolutely loved my FOREO Luna Mini. I also own the full sized FOREO Luna, but the mini still has my heart a little more. I just feel like it fits in my hand better, I like the back side of it with the deeper scrubbers, and it is a lower price. That is why the FOREO Luna Mini is a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award winner for 2015!

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask: My lips get really dry basically every time of the year and I feel like I have constantly been on the hunt for the perfect product to really give them the moisture that they need. I wanted something that would be more of a deep moisture and not necessarily something I would put on throughout the day everyday. The Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask has been absolutely perfect! I put it on before bed each night and it adds just the right amount of moisture that my lips need. I feel like it helps my lips heal while I sleep. Another thing I really love about this is that you barely need any product to cover all of your lips. It is literally hardly ANY product and it is all you need to get your lips feeling amazing. My lips have never felt softer! That is why the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask gets a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award for 2015!
BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara: I am a total BareMinerals girl. I don’t think I have ever tried a product of theirs that I haven’t been impressed with. This was the case with the BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara. I got a sample of it in a goodie bag two years ago and have used it ever since. I always use three different mascaras, like I talk about in my mascara tutorial, but my lashes don’t ever look the way I want them to if I am missing the BareMinerals Lash Domination mascara. I feel like it is my secret weapon. It doesn’t make my lashes clumpy, it helps add volume and length, it stays on all day, and makes my eyes really pop! That is why BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara gets a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award for 2015.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette: This palette really surprised me. I am a collector of beautiful eyeshadow palettes and when I got the Naked 3 palette, I was a little unsure about how I would like it because there were so many pink colors in it. What I am shocked to say today is that it is my favorite eyeshadow palette that I own! I own a lot of palettes, but I love this one the most because it has a lot of really great matte colors that are totally practical to use on a daily basis. I have been really surprised to see that these colors work really well on every skin tone I have tried them on. Because they are more rose toned, they look good on fair skin. They have a lot of cool undertones to them, so they look great on cool toned girls as well! It really kind of hurts my brain to try to figure it out, but this eyeshadow palette is basically the makeup version of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I recommend it to everyone! That is why it is receiving a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award!
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: I have loved eyeliner since my young days of loving Avril Lavigne. Although I didn’t ever wear quite as much eyeliner as she did, I loved a good, bold liner. Every eyeliner I would try would seem to melt on my face throughout the day and make me end up looking a bit like a rat who hadn’t gotten sleep in weeks. Thank the heavens that Kat Von D created the Tattoo Liner that is sweeping the beauty blog nation. This liner stays on all day long. Literally. It doesn’t budge! It is kind of like a little Sharpie that you are putting your eyeliner with. It is really easy to use because the tip is so thin and you don’t feel like you have to be some kind of artist to apply it. You can get a nice thin line, or go Avril on us and go big and bold! BareMinerals Complexion Rescue: Like I mentioned before, I am a total BareMinerals fan girl. My makeup routine changed forever when I was introduced to BareMinerals Complexion Rescue. It was the first time that I felt like I was using a foundation that was really right for my skin. I love that it has coverage that I can build upon on days that I have more to cover up, but it doesn’t cover more than I need to most days. I don’t feel like I am putting something on my skin that is causing loads of breakouts either. It is creamy, has great coverage, stays on all day, and feels good on my skin! Maybelline Super Stay 24 Color: I don’t actually think I have talked much about this on here, but I think it is because this line of lip colors has kind of been my little secret! One day, I went to Ulta and was looking for some fun lip colors to try out. Their Maybelline products were on a good sale, so I grabbed two of these lip colors. I kid you not, I want to own every single one of them now. I wear them almost everyday. This is the longest lasting lip color I have ever used! You put the glossy color on first, let it try for a few seconds, and go over it with the special lip balm it comes with. Your lips feel soft and your lip color stays on all day long. It is basically a scientific miracle. I know that when I wear this lip color, I don’t have to worry about my lip color coming off when I eat, drink, kiss, etc. It stays put! That is why the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Color lip stain receives a Girl Loves Glam Beauty Product Award!

I have been busy trying new products this year already and have a few products that I can already tell will be serious contenders for my 2016 beauty product awards. This will be something I will be doing each December, most likely. Since I was taking my blog break during December, these awards happened in January. Now you have something to look forward to at the end of this year!
