Exercise has become a huge part of our lives as a family in the past year. My husband lost over 50 lbs this past year, ran a half marathon, and has completely changed the way he lives his life. This has really rubbed off on the rest of our family as well. Although I have always loved exercising, I haven’t ever been great about focusing on eating healthy as well. Now that I am almost done with this pregnancy, I am already planning my eating and exercise plan for once my baby is born.

We decided to create a little home gym so that we could save money on gym memberships and still be able to get our exercise with our new baby at home. We had very little space and little money to create a home gym, but I love our little area that we created!

Fighting Sickness

Many of you have made comments about my husband’s noticeable weight loss that has occurred this year. He has lost over 50 lbs since May! While I have been been putting on the baby weight, he has been focusing on his health in a major way and has lost more weight than our four year old weighs!

One of the things that Dave has really changed has been how he eats. Going from someone who drank a lot of Dr. Pepper everyday to someone who loves to stay home and make delicious, healthy food is a pretty huge transformation itself!

Finding the Best Athletic Underwear

It may sound a little crazy, but I have been on a journey to finding the perfect athletic underwear for a while now. Last spring, I found my love for running and that was one area I wasn’t too familiar with when it came to what type of undergarments I should be wearing. I also have learned from a lot of trial and error what types of underwear I prefer for my cross training that I like to do as well.
